About Hotel Prinses Juliana
The hotel has been renamed after Princess Juliana, queen from 1948 to 1980 (30.04.09-20.03.04),
who stayed in our hotel numerous times. The hotel is almost 100 years old and still looks very impressive. There is a beautiful garden with a restaurant with terrace. the terrace can be used all year round.

The hotel lies at the edge of the cosy centre of Valkenburg at only 5 minutes walking from the centre. On the other hand the surroundings of the hilly landscape of southern Limburg are within easy reach. Nature preserve Ingendael is at the back of the hotel.
The location of Valkenburg itself in between Maastricht, Aken and Brussels, is ideal for a day trip for any culinary, wellness-, sportif- or other activity in the surroundings.
In addition this accommodation is perfect if you are visiting a congres in Maastricht as this is only at 7 kilometers away from Valkenburg.

The hotel offers beside the 15 tastefully decorated *** rooms, a unique meetingroom facility where you can hold your meeting in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
There is a bar and a nice terrace which is on the front side off the hotel.
In the entire hotel you have free use of wireless internet.
The big parking place is in front off the hotel. It is also possible to rent garage boxes.

The hotel offers 15 spacious, in original style decorated bedrooms, all equipped with television, fridge, safe, some cosy seats, a bathroom with bath, double sink, shower, toilet and hairdryer.
Some rooms are spacious enough to hold a family, but needs to be requested separately.
All floors are easy to reach by elevator.
All rates are including an extensive buffet breakfast.

Restaurant Maxima is completely renovated and refurbished according to the latest standards.
The interior is modern, but kept its style and atmosphere. The antique chandeliers give the restaurant a special touch. Our excellent kitchen offers a wide choice of menu, each season our chef is changing the menu, using local, regional and interenational fresh ingredients.
Guests with a diet are in for a treat as this is one of our chefs’ specialities.
Everybody can enjoy the delicious food in our restaurant whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
